The sky is beautiful Steven and its colors reflect on the sea.  The foreground has lovely pastel colors and there are grass as well as a nice tree on right hand side.  This is a beautiful scene and I thank you Steven for sharing.

This is a lovely landscape and painting Steven.  Too bad I didn't have the pleasure to watch you paint it.  This is a beautiful place.  You are lucky to find lovely places to paint. I thank you for sharing.

@henrycems I do love water and nature. There were some fishermen in a lake behind me. I wonder if the painting and fishing is just an excuse to sit next to the water and watch the world go by!

@credenza1 I do like the stronger colours and thick paint effects of oil and acrylics. But then I miss the unfussy nature of watercolours, the way you can get you finger nails into the painting and the minimal amount of gear you have to carry. Also you don't have to worry about getting paint on your clothes or skin as it just washes straight off. I've never tried small scale subjects, maybe something for the future.

I like the stronger colours you get with acrylics. It adds a new dimension to your work. I thought you were going to paint the toadstools for a moment. It would be interesting to see you tackle a small scale subject like that. Cheers.
